In a thrilling battle at the Garden Last night Carmelo
Anthony led the Knicks to a comeback win against the Hawks. Carmelo hit nine threes with a total of
42 points. This is one of those
games that is played one possession at a time and a turnover can be fatal. Atlanta had several costly turnovers
late in the game including a backcourt violation. This combined with the Knicks 60 percent from the field dug
Atlanta’s grave for them. The
difference in the game, New York penetrated the Hawks defense with ease
outscoring the Hawks in the Paint almost 3 to 1. The Knicks who were struggling of late scored big when
Felton returned to the lineup restoring the half court three ball offense that
keeps the defense guessing. Let's
hope the Knicks keep playing well.
